So the Minecraft server is about to celebrate its 4th year anniversary since its creation back on the 31st of October 2019. There’s about a month left to think about this, so I’d like some assistance in determining several aspects of the monument.
The monuments for the years before this have always adhered to the rule of being a pixel perfect recreation of the corresponding year number from the official UI font. So, the number 4 is going to look like this:
Other than that, the following aspects are still open for consideration:
- What the monument itself will be made of
- Whether the monument will have a base or not and if it will, what will the base be made of
- Where it will be built
- Any additional decorations
The following materials have already been used for the previous monuments, so they cannot be used for this one:
- Gold Blocks
- Emerald Blocks
- Copper Blocks*
- Sea Lanterns
- Iron Blocks
*Copper blocks have only been used as a base material for the 2nd anniversary monument, so I might be able to use it as a monument material this time, but ehhhhhh…I don’t think it’s gonna look good.
